About Us

Dr. Milana Frenkel-Morgenstern's group at the Azrieli Faculty of Medicine, Bar-Ilan University aims to identify unique potential drug targets in cancer cells, also known as “chimeric RNAs”. Her group catalogs these cancer-associated fusion transcripts, thereby analyzing the function of the proteins produced by the transcripts in order to identify those fusion events that are directly related to biochemical cell function.

Prof. Lars Juhl Jensen's Cellular Network Biology Group at The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research, University of Copenhagen aims to understand the principles that govern complex biological systems such as the cell cycle, signaling networks, and diseases. Most of my work is based on integration of data from high-throughput experiments, sequence analysis, and automatic literature mining.
